The Scholastic Spring Book Fair is now open ONLINE ONLY. This option was made available to us when the Spring Fair was cancelled. Scholastic has expanded the available titles in order to help meet the needs of families who are looking for books and other materials at a time when many libraries are closed.

Happy New Year! It's been fun hearing from the students about the books they received for the holidays. I love that Shaker Lane students are READERS! I hope you've been following me on Twitter @KrisHevenor. If not, be sure to ask your child about our latest fun game - Musical Books! Thank you to the following students for your recent donations of books to the library: Eric Hagberg, Ted Madison, and Mason Wolf. I also want to thank my fall parent volunteers: Mandy Clark, Candice Morse, and Joanna Nelson.
